About Wendy
Wendy has over a decade of experience as a top standardized test tutor. Her experience has helped students achieve significant score gains on the ACT. She particularly enjoys working with students who have mild to severe Learning Differences as well as students with test anxiety. She believes her ability to connect with these students (and make them highly successful on these exams) stems from the fact that she too overcame obstacles relating to having diagnosed LDs, and, as a result, she also experienced high levels of test anxiety.
Prior to opening her own practice, she was the Regional Director of Applerouth Tutoring and C2 Education where she was continuously called upon to give presentations to parents and educators to share her expertise about standardized tests and college admissions.
In addition to tutoring, Wendy has helped students (and parents) navigate the college admissions process. Though she no longer helps with the full college admissions process, she still works with students on essays. As such, she maintains her professional memberships to keep up to date on the latest college admissions trends, so she can best advise her clients.
She has a B.A. in International Public Relations from the University of the Pacific and an M.B.A from Middlebury School of International Studies. She is also a member of NACAC, SACAC, and is the Accommodations Liason for the National Test Prep Association.
